HEARST Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE midday host RON SMITH, who announced in OCTOBER that he is battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer, told listeners TODAY (11/28) that he is retiring from his radio show.
SMITH, 69, has discontinued chemotherapy treatments at JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL and wrote a final column for the BALTIMORE SUN on THANKSGIVING. Hear SMITH's announcement of his retirement by clicking here.
