Richard Fidler To Exit 612 ABC/Brisbane 'Afternoons' Show In 2012

612 ABC/BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA 11a-noon "CONVERSATIONS" and 1-3p "AFTERNOONS" host RICHARD FIDLER is exiting his afternoon show in 2012, reports the BRISBANE COURIER-MAIL.  He will continue to host the "CONVERSATIONS" show, which is broadcast across QUEENSLAND and NEW SOUTH WALES.

FIDLER has been off the air recuperating from serious burns sustained in a cooking accident (NET NEWS 11/14); he visited the show and fill-in host CHRIS WELSH WEDNESDAY (11/30) and told listeners he will be off the local afternoon show next year.
