98.7 Kiss FM/New York's Annual Coat Drive Set For Friday

EMMIS Urban AC WRKS (98.7 KISS FM)/NEW YORK's 9th Annual KISS Cares Coat Drive with partner NEW YORK CARES is set for FRIDAY 10a-10p (ET) at the REGAL CINEMAS UNION SQUARE.  The KISS staff will be joined by singers ANTHONY HAMILTON and CARL THOMAS, ESSENCE MAGAZINE Editor-in-Chief CONSTANCE WHITE, Miss Black NEW YORK 2012 SELENA WATKINS, and hip-hop legends TREACH from NAUGHTY BY NATURE, KWAME, GRAND MASTER CAZ and others.
 
The annual event collects gently used or new coats to help thousands of New Yorkers stay warm during the WINTER.  Midday host SHAILA said, "Every DECEMBER, I get to see the generous spirit of NEW YORK come alive.  It warms my spirit to see the faces of those who receive the gift from a city that has opened their closets and hearts and give so freely... it's amazing."
