Bad Wolves

Bad Wolves’ lead vocalist Tommy Vext and founding member and drummer John Boecklin draw musical inspiration from the likes of Pantera, Sepultura, and Fear Factory, along with vocal influences from Busta Rhymes and Big Pun, to Fiona Apple and Deftones.
Boecklin and Vext worked individually and collectively before recruiting players they both respected and liked, and a band of brothers with an impressive metal pedigree quickly came to be – lead guitarist Doc Coyle (ex-God Forbid), rhythm guitarist Chris Cain (ex-Bury Your Dead), and bassist Kyle Konkiel (ex-In This Moment).
Armed with a finished album, the band immediately landed a record deal and released their stunning version of the 25-year-old Cranberries hit, “Zombie,” in 2018. Not only was the cover deservedly a huge global hit, it was followed by two more #1 Active Rock Radio singles from "Disobey" – the latest being “Remember When.” They’ve toured incessantly with the likes of Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin, plus appeared at major rock festivals all over the world.
While this activity has been going on, Vext and Boecklin found time to write and record their sophomore album, "N.A.T.I.O.N." which will be released on October 25, 2019.
Vext said this about the new album. “I think we’ve honed it in and really delivered a more focused version of the Bad Wolves’ sound. Basically, it’s like pouring steroids on everything we love about the first record to create an album that’s a rollercoaster of emotional experience.”
“The band is still growing,” Boecklin concludes. “N.A.T.I.ON. is definitely a big step in the right direction, but we’re still evolving and there’s always more work to do. It’s only our second record (laughs) and I’m very excited about it.”
