Hedley

Hedley is a Canadian rock band made up of lead singer Jacob Hoggard, Tommy Mac on bass, Dave Rosin on lead guitar and Chris Crippin on drums. The band retains the name of Hoggard's pre-Canadian Idol group, although the membership has changed. The band originated in Abbotsford, British Columbia. They were named after the town of Hedley, British Columbia. Even though they're already superstars in their native land of Canada, Hedley are a fairly unknown name in the U.S. However, from the sound of the band's bouncy new single 'Kiss You Inside Out,' released May 18th, Hedley are set to conquer the airwaves in the States in no time at all.
The intro of "Kiss You Inside Out", produced by Adrian Newmanby and written by Lauren Christy of the Matrix ('Complicated' and 'I'm With You' by Avril Lavigne) is quite simple, with some quick-paced guitar strumming accompanying Jacob Hoggard's smooth vocals as he sings, "I don't know if you're ready to go / Where I'm willing to take you girl / I will feel every inch of your skin / And you know I can rock your world". The song picks up with an epic, breezy "ooooooh ooooh" as percussion, chiming keys and whooshing synth find their way into the track. 'Kiss You Inside Out' is simultaneously romantic and seductive, which is perfect since Hedley seem to be speaking to new lovers with the lyrics, and these emotions of love and passion are very intense at the start of a fresh romance.
