Saving Abel
Sep 21, 2014

Saving Abel will release their fourth studio album, Blood Stained Revolution, their first with new lead singer Scotty Austin, on November 11th via the band's own label, Tennessippi Whiskey Records. As for the release date, November 11th is Veterans Day and it's no coincidence the band chose that day to release the album. The group has been strong supporters of the military over the years, playing for U.S. troops at home and overseas and dedicating such tracks as "18 Days," "Drowning" and "Miss America" to the U.S. Military.
"Losing or replacing a front-man is nothing a band wants to do," guitarist Jason Null said in a statement. "Scotty's attitude and enthusiasm and belief in us, along with...Steven...has enabled us to make a change but stay the same. We are all enjoying our fans, travels and music, and for once, this feels like a true brotherhood."
Along with new lead singer, Scotty Austin, the band consists of Jason Null and Scott Bartlett on guitars, Eric Taylor on bass and new drummer Steven Pulley. Their eponymous major label debut Saving Abel was released in 2008 and it featured the hit lead song "Addicted". In 2010, their second album was released, entitled Miss America and then Bringing Down the Giant was released in 2012.
Saving Abel has no plans to slow down and has dates booked into 2015 and further. The band is still in the van and is starting a "Pledge Music" campaign to try to auction off some unique and special VIP experiences in order to be able to get back in a bus again.
