"The Devil's Bleeding Crown" is the latest single released by the Danish metal band, Volbeat. It will be on their forthcoming album, "Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie" due out on June 3rd via Republic Records. This sixth full-length album was mixed by Joe Barresi who has previously worked with bands such as Kyuss, Yuss, Melvins, Tool, Chevelle and Queens Of The Stone Age.
The current line-up of Volbeat consists of vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen, guitarist Rob Caggiano (ex-Anthrax), and drummer Jon Larsen. They have released five studio albums and one DVD. All of their studio albums have been certified gold in Denmark. Their second album "Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil" received platinum status, and their 2010 release "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven" was subject to widespread international critical acclaim, receiving double platinum in Denmark, platinum in Finland and Germany, and gold in Sweden and Austria. Volbeat's fifth album entitled "Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies" was released worldwide in 2013.
Volbeat will return to the road this spring with a string of dates around their first-ever Coachella performances April 15th and April 22nd with support from Black Stone Cherry and Monster Truck. In celebration of their return to the U.S., they will play with an intimate "Evening With Volbeat" show at the Roxy in West Hollywood, California on April 13th.
