KSAN/San Francisco Presents Metallica/SF Symphony At New Chase Center
KSAN (107.7 The Bone)/San Francisco celebrated the grand opening of San Francisco's new Chase Center on Friday September 6th presenting Metallica with the San Francisco Symphony. It was the first event at the new home of the Golden State Warriors and the sold-out show was the 20th anniversary of the S&M album which was recorded at The Berkeley Community Theater in 1999. The concert was recorded for an upcoming film to hit theaters in October. KSAN's top-rated morning show "Lamont & Tonelli" had an exclusive interview with Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich on the morning of the opening night concert and that afternoon near the Chase Center The Bone held a tasting event for Metallica's "Blackened" whiskey hosted by KSAN middayer Chasta and featured special guest (master distiller and blender) Rob Dietrich.
