Here they come: all holidays are present and accounted for on all store shelves. Halloween,Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and probably New Year's, too. We can give such a generic critique to this phenomenon. But I want to nudge you a little deeper to consider the consumer these items attract, who also happen to be your listener. They are women who are pregnant, preparing for a wedding, starting a new job, or possibly learning how a memory care facility operates because a parent has dementia. She is a woman on her way to chemo, to pick up her children from school, to deliver an Amazon package. She would love to hear about a good news story that's happening in your city, where she lives.
I'm curious: when was the last time you went on to your local TV station's website to research some local good news? Perhaps you could find a nugget of niceness to share, or create an experience they want might want to feature. I'd love to know what you find. @Beth Bacall.
