Wait, cities paying you to move there and work remotely is still a thing this deep into the pandemic? Says here that it is, with cities like Baltimore, Topeka, and Tulsa paying up to $15,000 to bribe you to move there. Gotta say, that's not a bad idea. Nothing at all bad about moving to those cities, the cash can come in handy, and housing prices are gonna be a lot less than in, say, here in L.A. Also, bringing in employed people with decent income is a win for the cities well beyond whatever they're doling out. You can get ten grand and free co-working space in Tulsa, ten grand from northwestern Arkansas (say hi to the Walmart folks when you get there), and Alaska gives out $1,000 a year for three years from its oil dividend money.
