Any Answers? Because This Is Going On Way, Way Too Long
-
Hate to harp on this, but the homeless problem is getting worse and it seems like any attempts to help the problem aren't working fast or widespread enough. In this case, Venice, CA, by the ocean in L.A., is so overrun by homeless encampments that we have this grandmother lamenting that it's too unsafe for her grandchildren to visit her. The lone local shelter's full. Politicians say things will be done but they're not. And if you think, well, that's California's problem, it's your problem, too. There are homeless people in every big city. I've seen encampments and tent cities myself in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Miami, Austin, Las Vegas, Washington, Seattle... everywhere. And it comes back to: What do we do about this? Because nobody should have no place to go. (KABC-TV/Los Angeles)
