KALEO
Oct 2, 2016

"Way Down We Go" is the newest single from the four-piece band, Kaleo through Elektra/Atlantic Records. The track features a bluesy sound held down by the piano and deep, rhythmic drumming.
Icelandic band Kaleo who now reside in the States, have just released their international debut album, A/B. It was primarily recorded in Nashville with producer Jacquire King, with additional contributions from Mike Crossey, Arnar Guojonsson and the band. The band consists of JJ Juliusson (guitar/vocals), David Antonsson Crivello (drums), Danny Jones (bass) and Rubin Pollock (guitar).
There are two sides to Kaleo: The rocking side featuring such songs as "Way Down We Go," "No Good," and "Broken Bones"; and the softer side in songs such as "All The Pretty Girls" and "Save Yourself."
"It was always our goal and dream to be performing and recording in America," Juliusson said.
Recently named by Rolling Stone as one of "10 New Artists You Need To Know," Kaleo made their late night TV debut earlier this year with a live performance of "Way Down We Go" on TBS' "Conan."
