BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
Started as a DJ at age 13.What was a hobby turned business turned career.
1. What got you into radio?
It was the mixing I heard on the air on Power 106 back in the days. I really wanted to mix on the air. I dropped off a mix demo up at their studios to the Baka Boyz, who were on the air at the time. They hit me up 90 minutes later and invited me back to guest DJ on their "Friday Nite Flavas" show. From there, I did a few mix auditions on air, then was hired as a Powermixer. I then learned a lot and worked my way up the ladder to what I'm doing now: Assistant Program Director and Music Director for Power 106 and 93.5 KDAY... and still mix live every morning on the Cruz Show!
2. What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?
A Firefighter or something with airplanes...I LOVE airplanes :)

5. Can you tell me a little about the Power 106 All-Stars Basketball program?
The Power 106 "All-Stars" Basketball Games are our community service program that helps high schools raise funds for their needs. 100% of the ticket sales/entry fees from the game goes towards the school/school organization/team for their needs. From August through June of the school year (Thursdays of each week, sometimes Tuesdays), the Power 106 All-Stars go to various high schools throughout southern California and play each school's "all-star" team, which can consist of staff, alumni, students, or whom they choose to play. The Power 106 All-Stars team consists of Power 106 DJs/staff as well as various celebrity actors, athletes, music artists, social media stars, etc. We've had many artists such as Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, and J. Cole who have played and participated.
