After numerous delays, rap star Jeezy (no longer Young) announced that his fourth studio album, TM103, will be released on September 28th. The album's first single, "Jizzle", is produced by longtime collaborator Shawty Redd and features Lil' Jon. Among the other collaborators on the album are Plies, Yo Gotti, and Jay-Z.
"It's one of the best f*****g albums - even if it wasn't mine - best well-produced, all around record, best thing I ever put my vocals on," Jeezy said on a conference call with DJs.
It's a "classical" album, Jeezy added, saying he "poured my heart out on this one. I just went in and whatever came out, that's what I did."
TM103 follows Jeezy's 2008 album, The Recession, which sold 952,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan, and debuted at No. 1 on the 200 chart.
"Jizzle" arrives on the heels of buzz single "Lose My Mind" with Plies. That song reached No. 5 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, selling 250,000 downloads.
