Alexander Cardinale, sometimes known as "Xander", is a singer, songwriter, producer & actor. He has also worked as an actor in films, TV and web shows. Alexander can be seen in his first starring role as "Hank" in Chad Peter's dark comedy Apocalypse, CA.
Cardinale was raised on the central coast in Monterey, CA. He now lives in L.A. and has a recording studio in North Hollywood. There, he and his writing partner/producer, Morgan Taylor Reid, write and record Alexander's music. Morgan also produces 7Lions (2101/Universal) Plug-in Stereo (Atlantic) & Shane Harper (AMI/Universal) among others. Morgan has been producing Cardinale's recordings since they first met at M.I. in 2005.
Cardinale's song "Sick Of Dreaming" was the featured music montage in episodes of One Tree Hill on The CW and American Broadcasting Company's Rookie Blue Other TV placements include episodes of Ghost Whisperer (CBS), Castle (American Broadcasting Company), Friends with Benefits (NBC) and 90210 (The CW).
In 2013, Cardinale won the USA Songwriting Competition, and he showcased at South by Southwest 2011. He had 5 showcases at SXSW 2012 in Austin, TX. He also showcased at The Indie Music Fest, NAMM, and DRIVEN Music & Art Conference in 2011.Music Connection Magazine named Alexander Cardinale one of their "HOT 100 UNSIGNED ARTISTS".
