Kurt Vile
Oct 16, 2018
Kurt Vile’s Bottle It In is his first album in three years, which he recorded at various studios around the country over two very busy years, during sessions that were usually at the end of long tours or family road trips.
Most of the project features longtime band members Jesse Trbovich (guitar), Rob Laakso (bass) and Kyle Spence (drums), but there are also a number of guests sitting in. Producer credits include Vile , Rob Schnapft and Rob Laakso.
These new songs show an artist who is still evolving and growing as a songwriter and vocalist, along with his renowned guitar prowess. In addition to “Loading Zones,” check out “Bassackwards,” ”Rollin With The Flow,” “Mutinies” and “Skinny Mint.“
“I’ve been bouncing around a lot and recording all over. My family would meet me in the middle of America, and we’d go on a road trip somewhere. I would record in between all that stuff.”
After a lengthy European and U.K. tour this fall, Vile has dates in North America through spring 2019.
