Kings Of Leon – a family affair featuring brothers Caleb Followill (guitar/vocals), Nathan Followill (drums), Jared Followill (bass) and their cousin Matthew Followill (guitar) – have seen success since their debut album back in 2003. They now return with their eighth studio album, When You See Yourself.
Recorded at Nashville's Blackbird Studios and produced by Grammy Award-winning Markus Dravs, When You See Yourself, finds the band taking their unique sound to new heights. In addition to the No. 1 Triple A track “The Bandit,” check out “100,000 People,” “Stormy Weather,” “Echoing,” “Fairytale” and the title track.
Caleb told NME on the band going on hiatus, “We’re all at a point now where we’re happy and we love each other. We make each other better at what we do. You can say we’ve broken up if you want, so you can get some of that Oasis steam going.”
Kings Of Leon When You See Yourself has hit the top of the album sales chart. The Kings Of Leon NFT Yourself collection that was dropped at the same time as the album release has garnered over $2 million dollars to support Live Nation’s Crew Nation Fund.
Kings Of Leon has booked a few festivals for this summer and early fall so far, including:
9/3-5 JAS Labor Day Experience - Aspen, CO
9/24 Ohana Music Festival - Dana Point, CA
