Daughter of comedian/actor Rob Schneider, Elle King was born in Los Angeles, but grew up near Columbus, OH with her mother and step-father. She now resides in Brooklyn.
After an acclaimed EP, King has finally released her debut album, Love Stuff. The project encompasses country, soul, rock and blues all delivered with King's unique and powerful voice. She worked with some impressive people on Love Stuff including Jeff Bhasker, Eg White, Jacknife Lee, Mark Ronson, Martin Johnson and Dave Bassett.
"Ex's & Oh's" is having a great run at Triple A. Other tracks that stand out from Love Stuff include "Where The Devil Don't Go," "Under the Influence," "Kocaine Karolina," "America's Sweetheart" and "Ain't Gonna Drown."
In a recent review, King said, "Love Stuff is a collection of songs that were written about my experiences so far of being a young woman trying to find her way through life, love, and sense of self."
King has been featured in Esquire, Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Entertainment Weekly, and many others. She has performed on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and "The Late Show with David Letterman." King just appeared on "The Today Show" on her album release date (2/17).
King has toured with Of Monsters and Men, Train, Ed Sheeran, among others. She is slated to play at the Hangout and Squamish Music Festivals, with more dates to be announced soon.
