Delta Spirit

Formed in 2005 in San Diego, Delta Spirit has gradually developed a strong fan base throughout the country - largely through airplay support at Triple A and consistent touring. Aside from their own headlining tours, they have played such festivals as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Austin City Limits Music Festival and SXSW.

Delta Spirit is Matt Vasquez (lead vocals, guitar), Kelly Winrich (keyboards, guitar, drums), Jonathan Jameson (bass), Brandon Young (drums, percussion) and newer member Will McLaren (vocals, guitar). They currently call Long Beach, CA their home base.

Their self-titled third studio album was produced by Chris Coady and shows the band in fine form, rocking a bit harder this time around. They are also experimenting sonically with some interesting new sounds.

"We found the sound that we've been looking for, that we've been growing into, and as soon as we hit on it, we ran with it. That's why it's a self-titled record, so we could connect our identity with what we think Delta Spirit is," said Vasquez.

In addition to the lead single "California," other tracks from Delta Spirit deserve your attention including "Empty House," "Tear It Up," "Otherside," "Into the Darkness" and "Home."

Delta Spirit toured with My Morning Jacket in December. Their headlining tour is just getting started.
