Birdman
Nov 12, 2012
Birdman or Baby, is an American rapper, businessman, and record producer. He is the co-founder of Cash Money Records and one half of the duo Big Tymers. Along with his releases with Big Tymers and for his solo career, Birdman recorded a collaboration album and numerous tracks with Lil Wayne. Birdman has also made his name by contributing to the making of YMCMB (Young Money Cash Money Billionaires). According to Forbes, he grossed an estimated US $15 million from May 2010 to May 2011 with a net worth estimated at US $110 million in 2011.
Birdman has been shooting a music video for his new single "Shout Out" featuring Gudda Gudda and French Montana in Las Vegas, Nevada recently. The Young Chop-produced song, will appear on his forthcoming Bigga Than Life album.
When rappers are questioned about their use of the ever-popular 'b-word,' the boilerplate response is, "There are women, and then there are b**ches." For Birdman, however, the title of "real b**tch" is an honor to be bestowed upon the women he most respects-including his sister, Tamara, and the late "Queen of Bounce," Magnolia Shorty. On the latest single off his fifth solo studio album, the Southern rap mogul gives those fine ladies and his myriad other down chicks a lyrical Shout Out, flowing over the whip-ready production of Chicago's Young Chop. French Montana (whose Bad Boy debut, Excuse My French, is still awaiting a drop date) and YMCMB's own Gudda Gudda contribute guest bars. Watch for Bigga than Life to hit stores in early 2013 via Republic/Cash Money Records.
