King ENJ

King ENJ earned the nickname of ENJ in the streets and when he went pro, he noticed there were other ENJs on the scene (but none with his swag) so he crowned himself King of all the ENJs and it's been non-stop ever since. After doing open mic nights and releasing mix tapes (one moved over 15,000 copies), the tide turned in King ENJ's favor in 2010 when Philly's Power 99 radio DJ, Cosmic Kev, featured him on his "Come Up Show". It not only made his name as a rapper on the east coast but also opened the door for him to ghost write for dozens of Hip Hop and R&B singers. In 2012, he launched his own record label, Werewolf Mafia Entertainment, where he's gaining street cred for his cutting edge lyrics and controversial hooks.
"I just came to the club to watch the nasty girls break it down," King ENJ announces on his infectious new radio single, "Break it Down" (Werewolf Mafia Entertainment), that's impacting urban radio now. "Break it down is a happy record," the King says of the song that gives props to all the working girls on the strip circuit and it's resonating. "I've got a great strip club buzz," he declares. "When you walk into a building you're not there to see the girls sitting. I don't care if you're drinking or what you're doing but I want to see one of them girls shake it. I want to see their asses clapping; I want to see all of that. It's just a club song to help you forget your problems and just chill. I'm the artist who's gonna bring that fun vibe back to Hip Hop."
Recently, King ENJ debuted "Break it Down" at Club Onyx in Philadelphia and the response was immediate. "I put the record in there two weeks before I performed it," says the self-described hustler. "When I went to perform it was like all the girls knew it - 30 strippers were on stage dancing and going in! Like I said in the hook, ' I just came to the club to see the nasty girls break it down'. It's from my point of view, what I like to see. I want to see girls going in."
