Please outline your radio career so far:
Got into radio late in life (compared to most) at the age of 25, after trying several other careers, including as a Nurse. I've been in radio 16 years, and have finally found what I want to be when I grow up!
1. What was your first job in radio? Early influences?
Music Research for WIYY in Baltimore, as a paid intern. First on-air job at WCEM/Cambridge, Maryland
2. Can you be a boss and also a friend to your employees?
To an extent, but I am not here to make friends, I'm here to do a job. If they like me, great, if they don't that's fine too, but I do hope they respect me.
3. What do you like best about your job? Least?
The Music, that's why I got in to radio.
Least? Production, because I feel there are so many that are better at it.
4. What can we be doing with our station's web sites to better our stations as a whole?
Making them more user friendly. It seems like we're making listeners jump through hoops to navigate through them.
5. What do you plan to differently in the next year regarding work and family?
Work less; spend more time with the family.
6. Who are your programming mentors?
Brian Cleary & Dick Raymond-2 men who have taught me so much about this business!

8. In your opinion, what is the greatest song ever that never made it as a hit?
Trisha Yearwood, "Real Live Woman," in a female driven format, I'm surprised that this song wasn't a number 1! EVERY woman can relate to this song!
9. Favorite artist that you have met?
One of my favorites is Darryl Worley. He is truly one of the nicest people I've ever had the opportunity to meet.
10. Most surprising record of the past 12 months?
Heartland "I Loved Her First."
