My ABC's For Fighting Through Rough Times

If you live long enough, you'll encounter a rough time or two.
They come in all shapes and sizes, ranging anywhere from job loss to rejection to sickness and anything in-between. No matter how big or small the difficulty is, it can be an all-consuming fight that can take on a life of its own.
When an obstacle presents itself I've learned to apply my ABC's...
Accept the problem for what it is. Acceptance allows me to take ownership and begin action.
Believe that I'll get through it. Believing that there is an end in sight allows me to start to build the resolution.
Control my mind. Controlling the mental side pushes unnecessary worry and concern away and allows me to clearly focus on the solution to the problem.
I used to try to trick myself that the problem wasn't really a problem, but then before I knew it, I'd have an even bigger problem on my hands. My ABC's may seem a bit simplistic but from small to life-altering issues, I've learned that problem solving doesn't have to be so difficult, dramatic or drawn out!
