The Super Bowl is Sunday and call me cheesy, but I love great quotations, so I thought I would pull a few good ones from Super Bowls past for your entertainment and potential inspiration:
"We're going to win on Sunday. I guarantee it!"
-- Joe Namath before Super Bowl III
"Terry Bradshaw couldn't spell 'cat' if you spotted him the 'C' and the 'A'."
-- Dallas Cowboys linebacker Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson (Super Bowl XIII)
"I'd run over my own mother to win the Super Bowl"
-- Washington Redskins guard Russ Grimm. (Super Bowl XVIII)
"I'd run over Russ Grimm's mother to win the Super Bowl, too"
-- Raiders linebacker Matt Millen in response to Grimm's comment. (Super Bowl XVIII)
And of course, you just have to have some Vince Lombardi in there ...
"It's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you got to have is faith and discipline when you're not a winner."
-"Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence."
-"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will."
-"The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary."
