Managing In Transformative Times
Managing in the dramatically transformative times ahead in radio cannot be overstated. Radio is on the verge of some of the most transformative times in its history as the future of the over-leveraged debt at iHeart and Cumulus combine with the soon-to-be-realized impact of the merger of Entercom and CBS in the next three months at the most. It cannot be overstated that all of us in the radio industry are on the verge of the next dramatic step into our collective futures. The overhaul of the radio business that we are all on the verge of experiencing will create many new winners and unfortunately, just as many or more new losers who are simply in the wrong role at the wrong time -- or vice versa, the right role at the right time with skill sets having little to do with the ultimate outcome.
