Please begin by giving us a brief career history ...
I founded Rainbow DJ Service in 1994, and I serve as President, head DJ and "music guru," using the name DJNXS. I earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, and I was somewhat of a child prodigy on the drums, having played a set with Count Basie while only in the eighth grade. I was one of the first female drummers in the U.S. Army Band, and a member of the Fontonelles band in Austin, TX during the late 80s and early 90s. I also played professionally with Nancy Scott, Susan Colton, and others on the Austin music scene.

7) Are you spending as much time listening to radio as you used to?
My radio listening habits have not changed. However, I wish the stations would put more songs in rotation.
8) What has been your biggest career accomplishment?
Having the opportunity to go to the Grammys and interview various artists such as George Clinton, the Blue Man Group, Slip Knot, Macy Gray, and Nelly. I also was the only DJ to slip in and record the rehearsal of the duet of Elton John and Eminem. The recording aired the next day on MIX 94.7 in Austin, TX.
9) If you were offered a similar position to what you were doing for considerably less money, would you seriously consider taking the job just to stay in the biz?
YEP!

Bonus Questions
Great movies I've recently seen ...
CRASH - I saw this movie when it was first released (before all the hype). The fact that it won the Oscar for Best Picture is no "upset." The movie leaves you speechless, yet thirsty for a healthy discussion about all the issues it raises.
