Posturing, Posing and Press Releases:
NJ Gov. CHRIS CHRISTIE will formally launch his 2016 presidential bid later today. He'll make the announcement with family, friends and supporters at his old high school in Livingston, NJ, where he was class president, and then head out on the campaign trail to New Hampshire. (Pacelli)
Bid'ness is Bid'ness:
Good news! There is an explanation why you hear back from your college intern faster than your boss!
YAHOO completed a study of more than sixteen billion emails sent by over two million people, using gender and age analysis, and found that basically, young people send faster emails.
Adults over 51 could take as long as forty-seven minutes to reply to an email, but on average, teenagers only take about thirteen minutes. Overall, men sent faster responses, but used fewer words.
Messages sent from mobile devices were the fastest (though they tended to come with a pesky "sent from my phone, ignore typos!" message). However, they were far shorter than their counterparts sent from desktops.
Too much email also results in smaller numbers of emails being responded to, and shorter emails, period. (AB)Sucking up:
BRISTOL PALIN may be getting flack from a few folks over her pregnancy, but LEVI JOHNSTON ain't one of them. Bristol's original baby daddy tells TMZ.com that he feels bad her engagement to DAKOTA MEYER was called off and says she's a "great mom" to their son, TRIPP. The duo hasn't always been on such great terms and battled it out for custody of their six-year-old little boy. (Lee)
Meanwhile, Bristol now says that her pregnancy was totally planned.
"So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me," she wrote in a post titled "My Little Blessing."
"None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a--holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned."
"Everyone knows I wanted more kids. ...Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on... But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two."Fashion Emergency:
Men's fashion website Mister Porter (MrPorter.com) is carrying KANYE WEST's insanely popular Adidas Yeezy Boost 350. The exclusive $250-dollar shoes started selling on the website Saturday. That's good news for sneaker collectors who weren't able to reserve a pair on the Adidas Confirmed app. The app crashed after being overloaded with traffic for the sneaks, causing a lot of customers to miss the reservation deadline.
Racked.com says fashion from the Yeezy Adidas Original line will also be sold by the Mister Porter website in the fall, They'll carry a range of jackets, tees, pants, sneakers starting in October, with prices ranging from $180 to $4550. Kanye's clothing line will also be available at Barney's department stores. (Bartha)Off the beaten path:

Now you can own your very own real Velociraptor claw. The claw is up for sale on a Chinese website for only $12-thousand $500-dollars. That's not a bad price for something that's said to be at least 71-million years old. (Still) -
