The Internet:
If you're tired of reading about DONALD TRUMP without getting the full experience of how ridiculous he is, boy, do we have the thing for you.
The Trumpweb extension for the Google Chrome browser promises to find "any mention of Donald Trump and adds an actual Donald Trump quote to his name," according to the extension's page at the Chrome Web Store.
It's totally free, and totally worth it, when you open Facebook to find "Donald 'I don't want to use the word "screwed," but I screwed him' Trump," or "Donald 'We have stupid people' Trump."
So far, most of the 145+ reviews are five stars. (AB)On, off and way-off Broadway:
You probably won't be able to see "Hamilton" on Broadway anytime soon, unless you already have a ticket. But, the Confidential gossip column in the New York Daily News says the creator and star of the musical, LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA hinted that a movie could be in the works. He also said that he's very excited about the original cast album coming out next month. You get the entire show on 2-CDs or as a digital download, co- produced by QUESTLOVE of THE ROOTS. (Marino)
Trendspotting:
Bra makers are focusing more on comfort, and less on cleavage. Led by Nike, Lululemon and Jockey, the manufacturers are shifting away from the push-up bra model made popular by Victoria's Secret. Instead, Fashionista.com says undergarment-makers are focusing on fit, comfort and "techy athleticism." The reason: the growing trend in "athleisure" fashion has pushed retailers to rethink how bras are made and marketed. (Bartha)
Look what I found:
In Florida, a nursing home resident woke up to find a snake in his pants.
Workers at the Titusville Rehab and Nursing Center say the unidentified resident got up to go to the bathroom and found a three-inch, ring neck snake hiding in his underwear. A nursing assistant who was on duty at the time says, "I wanted to see the snake and when I seen the snake in a cup, I was like, 'Dang, that's a real snake'."
The reptile was not poisonous and the victim was not injured. In fact, he told officials he would like to keep the snake as a pet. (Still)Canadian Football League:
MICHAEL SAM became the first openly gay player to appear in a Canadian Football League game Friday night, playing for the Montreal Alouettes in a 26-23 loss to the Ottawa Redblacks. Sam played defensive end and failed to record a tackle. In 2014, Sam was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh and final round of the NFL draft. He was cut by St. Louis and signed by the Dallas Cowboys to the practice squad but never made their roster. (Lane)
