LEONARDO DiCAPRIO will reportedly produce and star in a new movie about rock and roll pioneer SAM PHILLIPS, who launched the careers of ELVIS PRESLEY, JOHNNY CASH and JERRY LEE LEWIS.
Deadline reports Paramount Pictures has picked up the rights to the biography "Sam Phillips: The Man Who Invented Rock 'N' Roll," which will be used as a basis for the film.Fashion Emergency:

Now that "Hamilton" is playing in Chicago, tickets are so hot, fans are willing to trade them for World Series seats! WBBM-TV says Jim O'Hara is willing to swap four "Hamilton" tickets in December for two World Series tickets now. Jim hasn't told his wife yet. She still thinks they're going to see "Hamilton."

DANIEL RUSHING is suing the city of Orlando, Florida, after a test allegedly confirmed that the donut glaze in his car was crystal meth and he was arrested.
Rushing wants $15-grand in damages for the arrest, and isclaiming that the arresting officer, CORPORAL SHELBY RIGGS-HOPKINS, an eight-year veteran of the force, should have known the difference between meth and sugar glaze. (Myers) -
