Greek yogurt is a staple in my diet. I prefer the zero percent fat kind, opting to mix in some some Splenda and a chopped apple if I have one. Other staples include egg whites, which stink when you cook them, lots of turkey and chicken and cantaloupe. My girlfriend, Dawn, is a marathon runner and whole grains are added to all meals: bread, pasta and crackers are her staples because she covers so many miles. I hate running, so no heavy carbs for me.
My oldest daughter, now in her twenties finds anything that is pre made to be her staple. College girls on the run have such a difficult time eating right. This sort of prepares them for motherhood when again no one has time to eat right yet they make sure everyone else does. Isn't that backward thinking. Take a poll; see if she spends more on herself or her child. It does all add up and come to think of it, it flies by quite quickly. Maybe I should travel back in time to those late night college pizza runs. C'mon, my daughter learned from the best.

What's the strangest food she's ever seen at a buffet?
She is making extra cash without even leaving her driveway or the curb in front of her apartment building. Garage sales and curb sales are happening all over. In order for someone to treasure her junk, she must advertise, place signs, display her wares in a clean and orderly fashion, and make sure items have all their accessories. It's always preferable to be able to demonstrate the working order of electrical and electronic items. She should price items according to what she would pay fory priced manner.
Watching Unwrapped on The Food Network makes her hungry for everything from pork rinds to Italian ice. She can use this fun food knowledge and play EAT IT. This award-winning food-trivia game is available at Toys "R" Us, Target, and Kmart. It makes a great hostess gift too for the "foodie" in your life.
