'Spring Clean Your Diet', read the magazine headline and all I could think was "NO."
Why does springtime have to be about cleanings and limiting food intake? It's finally nice outside, so let's be doing outside things. Also, why do women need to be enticed to stay fit or lose weight by a bathing suit goal? It should be about wellness, staying toned, working out within our limits, portion control and just being comfortable in the body. I can't make it through the grocery checkout without being glared at by beautifully airbrushed gals plastered on the cover of a "Women's" magazine. Of course these publications are placed next to a cover featuring food which I'm sure these models eat or have eaten. Either way I can't be picture perfect in my life, but I try. So please pass me some mascara and a to-go menu.
