I stop and smile and coo over almost every baby I see. I am a baby person. I love seeing their bright eyes, gummy smiles and bald heads. My girlfriend Kate, however, stops to pet and speak to every dog she comes across. She's a dog person. On a recent outing we came across more dogs than babies, it was about 5-1, with dogs leading. I needed a lint brush by the end of this excursion, as any friend of Kate became a friend of mine. It's an interesting observation to come from a walk in the park to notice many more dog walkers than new parents. However, I'm optimistic, and the next time I'm bringing an extra spit rag just in case.

Who owns the most clothes in her family?
Money magazine reports that even though big chain stores like Best Buy may be closing, be- fore they hold their liquidation sales, they increase their prices to the manufacturer's full retail price. Furniture deals can be found at small family-owned stores instead of stores like Pottery Barn. Also, travel deals are to be found on hotels rather than airfare.
