The Olympics tend to bring out the athlete in us. So did The G.I. Jane movie, but I stay current. Once, while watching a gymnast vault for gold, my youngest daughter decided that would be a good thing to try in her tiny bedroom. You can only fly so far on a single kids bed, and yes she went to school the next day with a big scrape in her cheek that we deem "golden." My oldest daughter was energized to be the next Michelle Kwan during the ice skating phase of her life, she's now editing this column and showing her photos in a Chelsea gallery (by the way she's graduating college so if you're looking for a good photographer...) My point is that as these summer games unfold, so will her kids interest in sports. Adults as well will be energized to either mold their little athlete or get themselves in better shape. So go Team USA, and Team USA dreamers.
