Bad Food

Come Monday morning many women will be looking back on this upcoming weekend by saying they ate 'bad.' That's a very unflattering way to describe eating something 'good,' but after the pleasure of the indulgence is over, be it a great dessert, glass of wine or rack of ribs, the calorie count comes into play, as do the fat grams. Sometimes, it's about not wasting; when a kid leaves one half of a grilled cheese on their plate she knows if she saves it, chances are slim this leftover will be be reheated. If it gets thrown away, it's wasted, and the aftermath of feeding it to the family dog is not worth it either so, many eat the extra. The same happens when she cuts the crusts off a child's sandwich.
Eating out happens more over the weekend too, with even the best ordered salads equaling a high caloric intake thanks to the dressing and deceiving toppings. A new recipe, a piece of pie while out for coffee with a friend, a handful of her child's happy meal fries, a church bake sale goodie, movie popcorn, or a Costco hotdog add up. Come Monday some will look back in regret. I recommend a good workout and a good attitude that changes the thought from something 'bad' to something that was a great part of her weekend. She Buzz Words
