I had a recent outpatient procedure; that is a word that I have come to really dislike. I've also become very familiar with outpatient procedure facilities. These are places that allow you to get a minor to moderate surgical procedure, and go home shortly after. The whole ordeal is usually packaged up into one day. After observing the staff and medical teams, I noticed a good 80 percent of the employees are women. These are women in the demo we are seeking to please. My procedure alone involved one doctor, a man, four operating room nurses, women, one female intake nurse, one female post-op nurse, and another female receptionist. It seemed to me that, since this field is so saturated with the demo we seek, you may want to send them a shout out, or bring a couple extra t-shirt the next time you need a procedure.
