"Would you like some pumpkin spice in your coffee?" seems to be a standard question lately at many coffee houses. First, I think they are suggestive selling because an extra shot of flavored syrup ups the price of the drink. Next, it's a lovely sign of the fall season; however artificially flavored pumpkin, cinnamon, spice and nutmeg options are endless when it comes to coffee and muffins. Bags of bite sized candy bars fill the bins she passes on her way to the grocery checkout. New flavors and items on the shelf add a little something into her day; it's just like a new song. She wants details on it and, if it pleases her quickly she'll want more. Make her a sugar-free cinnamon dolce latte perfectly steamed with skim milk and it's guaranteed she'll be back for more. Plus she's likely to tell her friends about it. And when you add up the cost of these drinks the value is there. Truly how much could a paper cup with a shot of espresso, shot of flavor and milk really cost? If she's drinking a regular, small or grande the price starts at $3.00. The consumer has allowed this to happen because regardless of all the appliances available to make drinks like this it's easier and tastes better coming from a professional barista. If you're on the air you are her audio barista and she wants a venti white chocolate and cinnamon mocha made with skim milk and topped with whipped cream. Have fun making that!

ADHD is a neurologically based disorder that starts in childhood and moves into adulthood. Seven to eight percent of school-aged children have ADHD and approximately five percent of adults. That's about 5 million children and 10 mil-

Oscar Mayer Lunchables may seem like an easy choice for kids, but they are not nutritious. For example, the Maxed Out Ultimate Nachos with Cheese and Salsa Lunchables has 580 calories and 27 grams of fat; this is 42% of the recommended daily amount of fat based on an average adult's 2000-calorie diet. Children have different
nutritional needs. On a good note, Oscar Meyer now has a "Sensible Solution Flag" to attract shoppers to healthy options. Obviously there is no flag on Lunchables. (Source: www.hungry-girl.com)• Get more She Prep at www.ShePrep.com
