Grammy Award winning rock and roll legend Joe Walsh returns with Analog Man, his first solo album in two decades. The 10-track album was produced by Jeff Lynne and Joe Walsh with Tommy Lee James co-writing some of the tracks. "Lucky That Way," the focus track for Triple A features Ringo Starr, his real life brother-in-law, on drums. He has a few solo dates interspersed between Eagles dates.
As John Mayer gears up for his World Cafe interview during the NONCOMMvention, he is releasing the second single from his album Born and Raised (available on May 22nd). After having some throat problems which caused him to cancel his tour, Mayer does have some scheduled TV appearances including "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "The Late Show with David Letter" and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
Shawn Colvin's eighth studio album, All Fall Down (out June 5th), is a collection of 11 songs produced by Buddy Miller and features performances by Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Jakob Dylan, Bill Frisell and Mary Chapin Carpenter, among others. Our first taste is the title track. Colvin is also set to release a memoir on the same date entitled "Diamond in the Rough." Colvin has already embarked on an extensive tour.
Suzie Cracks the Whip marks a creative resurgence for Blues Traveler and also marks their 25th Anniversary as a band! The album was produced by Sam Hollander and contains 12 brand-new songs (the special edition has a bonus disc of six other tracks). Blues Traveler has sold over 10 million albums to date and is set to embark on 30-city U.S. tour with Barenaked Ladies, Cracker, Big Head Todd this summer. Things get started with "You Don't Have to Love Me" (look for the video of the song in late May).
