After a three-year hiatus, John Mayer is back with his bluesy new single entitled, "Love On The Weekend". The track was released through Columbia Records and serves as the lead single for John's upcoming album, "The Search for Everything".
John Mayer is an acoustic rock/blues singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. John has recorded six studio albums to date including his debut album "Room for Squares" (2001) and "Heavier Things" (2003); both of which went over well and achieved multi-platinum status. In 2003, he won the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his single "Your Body Is a Wonderland". He went on to release "Continuum" (2006), "Battle Studies" (2009), "Born and Raised" (2012), and his most recent album "Paradise Valley" (2013).
John has sold over 20 million albums worldwide with several going multi-platinum and earning him a variety of accolades.
Mayer recently showed a vested interest in joining the Grateful Dead cover band, Dead & Company. After being initiated into the group by Bob Weir, Mayer joined Dead & Company and joined them for their Eastern U.S. tour.
