1) What was your first job in radio? Early influences?
First job in radio was answering phones for on air jocks in studio.
2) What led you to a career in radio? Was there a defining moment, which made you realize "this is it"?
Born and raised in New York, radio has been my life. Now I'm just privileged to play the best music for the people in NY the way it was played for me.
3) If you were just starting out in radio, knowing now, what you didn't then, would you still do it?
Absolutely. Radio is the best place to see and experience all areas of the music industry. You learn everyday from some of the most influential people not only in programming but directly from the artists.
4) What's your take on radio currently?
Is it as good as six months ago, better, or about the same? Elaborate. I think radio has changed a lot in the last year. With so much technology (iPods, for example), radio has really had to step up its game and give listeners the best of the best.
5) What do you feel is your greatest asset?
I think my greatest asset is my ability to read people and situations. I can just walk in a room and be able to read and analyze it to the tee.
6) What is the one truth that has held constant throughout your career?
If you give your time, effort, and talent without looking for something in return, you are destined for success.
7) What was the transition you had to make in your new position?
The biggest transition is having 105 different hats to wear. I'm pulled in so many different directions so the balance is always a transition. But I'm loving it.
8) Of all the skills you have gained through the years, is there an area you'd like to improve?
Only if I had the ability to add more hours to the day! lol
9) As you look back over your career ... any regrets? Missed opportunities?
Everything is my career has led me to where I am right now. I have no regrets and I believe to the best of my knowledge I have taken advantage of every opportunity that was in front of me. I'm truly blessed to have worked and learned from the best in the biz.
10) You just won the lotto and you have your boss on the line. What's the first thing that you would say?
Uummm, Nate, we poppin' bottles tonight!!!

Describe your favorite meal?
I'm Puerto Rican so a plate of rice and beans is always a good thing!
Do you read ... everything? Books, Magazines, etc. Nothing? What's your favorite reading material?
I read everything!! Every morning I hit the internet and stay up on everything that is going on both in music (All Access, Billboard, etc.) and around the world period.
What "reality show" could you see yourself appearing on and why?
Wow, Reality TV. I think I would be on The Apprentice. It's all about strategy; being a strong leader and helping your team achieve its goal.
