Think about things in life that benefit from boundaries: children, pets, relationships, and landscaping. You were taught at an early age to color inside the lines. If you're on the radio or a podcaster the same idea applies.
ON-AIR BREAK STRUCTURE
Depending on your personality, you may enjoy more structure or conversely just simple guardrails to help you plan on-air breaks. As a talent coach, I work with both types of on-air personalities. Some enjoy and require a very structured approach while others prefer me to simply adjust their guardrails which help them not drive off the side of the road.
If you don’t have someone in your life helping to guide you, please accept a FREE Break Structure .pdf below. Ultimately, it will provide you with some structure so that you can color inside the lines with creativity and freedom. Specifically, it’s designed to help guide you through 4 easy steps of break construction:
- Define the topic.
- Plan the destination.
- Decide who’s the star.
- Activate the listener’s attention.
HERE’S THE TAKEAWAY
Ideas like this shouldn’t be protected behind a pay wall. Sharing freely makes the world a better place; especially if it helps you build confidence and causes growth. Download the FREE Break Structure .pdf here.
