Attaboy, Jeff Cruz, Attaboy!

A while back I gave credit to Carmen Brown for the way she relates to and knows Christian music artists. There's someone else that belongs in that category. I'm calling him "Carmen's Florida Promo Trip Partner."

Jeff Cruz.

This guy not only knows how to program a station (consistently Top 5 in target demo) but he knows the artists. He can pick up a conversation with an artist like they've been family for the past 20+ years. It's uncanny.

And when an artist visits, all doors are open. Artists hang with Jeff, the WPOZ staff and even his family.

Plus Mr. Cruz is a social media nut. He finds great balance between work and family. You gotta give props to a guy like that.

One last thing about Jeff: he gives back to the radio community by being open to sharing a few, but not all, of his secrets to programming and talking really, really well. So ask him questions if you got 'em. He's a great resource.

So today, Mr. Cruz, you get one of my "Attaboy's." Congrats.
