1. Share a moment in your career that you'll always remember.
We had the amazing opportunity of fostering a little boy several years ago and I shared that journey on the air – it was inspiring to hear from listeners who were considering fostering or had fostered in the past.
2. If you weren't working in radio what else do you think you'd do?
I would be a social worker, counselor doing one-on-one sessions or leading group therapy.
3. Some great advice you've received is…
Trust your gut.
4. How do you continue learning and growing?
I listen to the smart people who know what they're doing 😉. And I think counseling is a very important part of the growth journey professionally & personally.
5. What's one thing you wish you'd known about radio when you first started?
Don't waste your time working for approval. You got the job for a reason, be you & enjoy the ride.
6. Tell us about someone who you really respect and why?
My older brother is one of my favorite people on the planet! He has taken all that he's gathered on his journey in life (pre-med student, served in the military for several years, put up with me for 40 years) and turned that into a career as a counselor. He works with a program that gives incarcerated men & women a 2nd chance at life.
7. What's something about you that would surprise most people?
I played basketball in college & now coach my son's basketball team…poor kid!
8. What's your favorite room at home and why?
Our sunroom—exposed brick, French doors that lead out to a ravine & wildlife all around…very peaceful!

Use my acupuncture mat & play piano for a few minutes.
10. What do you to unwind and chill?
All things nature & getting out on the bball court definitely soothes my soul.
