Please outline your radio career so far:
I have been in radio over 20 years. I have worked in Detroit, Houston, Charlotte, New Orleans, San Francisco and Dallas
1. What was your first job in radio? Early influences?
I started as an intern at WDTX in Detroit. I learned from the very best, Jocks like Jim Snowdon and Karen Dalessandro. They took the time to help me. I really owe my career to them.
2. If you are wearing more hats today, than say last year, what area is suffering, and what are you doing about it?
My prep time. I like to prep about 3 hours a day. I want to know what's going on in the area.
3. What do you like best about your job? Least?
Pay day! I really like the fact that we can help others by what we do; food drives and toys at Christmas for kids. That is the best part of the job. There is nothing I don't like about what I do.
4. What can we be doing with our station's web sites to better our stations as a whole?
We use the web site for everything. It's a great tool for us to sell, and it is yet another way to reach the listener.
5. What do you plan to do differently in the next year regarding work and family?
I would like to go back to Detroit and see my Grandma. She's a great lady!
6. Who are your programming mentors?
I have worked for and with so many great PDs and have learned something from each one of them. Earnest James, Don Kelly, Ron Parker, Charley Lake, Dene Hallam, my current OM Walter Brown and of course my old morning partner Dean Goss (what a killer talent).
7. Who's your favorite air/personality not on your air staff?
Howard Stern, John Lander and Dean Goss
8. What is your favorite radio station outside of your own market?
KRTH, what a great station.
9. Favorite artist that you have met?
Jon Bon Jovi. What a great guy.
10. Next Superstar Programmer?
Tim Jordan with CBS in San Francisco. He is a really bright guy.

1. You are on a desert island...what 5 CDs are in you portable disc player?
The Beach Boys "Greatest Hits", "Tommy" The Who, Cheap Trick's "Greatest Hits", INXS "Greatest Hits" and gotta have KC & The Sunshine Band "Greatest Hits".
2. Describe your favorite meal?
Crawfish!!! I love it.
