I clearly have dogs on the brain this week. Which is probably an improvement.

Social media has done ALL of our research for us. What do people do the last week of August? They post photos of their kids at the bus stop What do people do on Super Bowl Sunday? They post photos of their food. And on national holidays, people will often post photos of their pets who they have adorned with patriotic garb and colors.

At the very least it’s a hashtag thing for the upcoming holidays in Canada and the US. Post, ‘tag, share and maybe win some client swag. Or “wag”.

Animal Shelters

Those of us who have pets know that fireworks are a nightmare for them.

In a lot of communities that Humane Society and shelters will invite people to come in and read to the animals just to keep them distracted and hopefully calm enough to get through 22 minutes of intense bangs. Not to mention all the people blowing stuff off in their backyards.

It wouldn’t be a bad thing to either participate in or at least promote and help recruit.
