Buckets Are Back!
93.3 The Q in Albuquerque is first out-the-gate with a Summer 2021 bucket list and this is a GREAT and SPONSORED trip to Sturgis.
Next up? Back To School, so what if you did a prize package of FOMO prizes for people who get to the last week of August and realize that there is a lot that they didn’t squeeze in. An “End Of Summer Bucket List” could be theme park tickets, a State Park pass, a picnic, a horseback ride, gas for a Saturday drive and a boat rental.
Vaccines
As a medium, we hit it hard. Every industry found ways to incorporate the message into their marketing…and now with variants and a lot of people who have not yet received a shot, COVID is making a come back in the US.
So…this might be a time/hole in the schedule before School kicks in, followed by 9/11/21. Followed by football, Halloween….to hit the message again.
The challenge is to be the message that cuts through and isn’t wallpaper.
Vax Champs We’ve honored frontline workers, hometown heroes, pint-sized heroes, so how about honoring the people who have been staffing the clinics?
National Immunization Awareness Month It’s August.
Shot At $1000 People continue to post their vax status. Good. Reward random listeners who post, hashtag and share with state lotto tickets. People WILL do just about anything for a freaking scratcher.
V For Fax Maybe it’s having people flash a V sign and reward with client swag.
Videos Radio is the great regurgitator of other people’s content. Could you get some listeners who work in the medical field to do a video like this?
Maybe not in a shaming way. Take a song that would be appropriate and have them perform to that?
Ice Cream I’m weird. I know I’m weird. And I don’t like ice cream. But I’m aware enough to know that people LOVE the stuff. Can you get a client to give you wrapped, sealed treats like Dilly Bars and weekly go out and do an hour or two from a vax site, and give them away.
The Motivation To Get Jabbed In 8th grade Mrs. Radsek made us read “The Medium Is The Message” about HOW the message is delivered is 99% of the battle. I’d get a motivational speaker to do a tongue-in-cheek video about the importance of getting the vax. Or just create your own. Orlando at WiLD in Tampa? He would park that in the bleachers.
