Back To School Reboot

What do people do during the last couple of weeks of August? They post pics of their kids heading off to school. HANK-FM in Lexington is having their listeners post their old school pics for prizes. I’m listed as “Paige – World’s Oldest Intern”.

9/11/21

We’re now in the 30 day window.

• Quite a few stations are going to do lists or a page of events happening in their markets. 9/11 memorial events in and around Tucson | Entertainment | tucson.com
• “Never Forget” is a term that has been used repeated in relation to 9/11 memorials. That would look good as a hashtag.
• At least two stations are looking at getting local bridges bathed in red, white and blue that evening. Talk to the city.
• A station is looking at rebranding for the day with “America” as the moniker.
• One of the stations has reached out to the Mayor and asked to be part of the civic event and got an enthusiastic “Yes!”. If you can’t do one yourself, then be a part and help with someone elses.
• You would never EVER want to make this a contest, but provide a profile image for people to use on social media that day. I wouldn’t even stick your logo on it.
