Your Spring book plans should be completed by now. If not, you should work this weekend on them. Waiting will put you behind. Expect a full presentation from each station. Target, cost, and goals. Ps. If you are doing marketing from last year's plan, it's out of date. Something that worked 12 months ago, may not work now.

Have your HD plan ready to go? What will it cost you for the remainder of 2007? What is the marketing plan for HD? This line has the potential to cost you. Make sure you know every cost associated with all new technology. .

As we move towards the middle of the month, remember it's also the end of the quarter. How will you do? Make the revenue goals? How about expenses. If you're short in the revenue department, but "on" in the expense line, you are missing Q1. Let's discuss how we are going to "make up" in Q2.

Do you have your preliminary February close done? What are the actual expenses needed to run your cluster for the month. A review will assist you in reporting your Q1 numbers to corporate. More tomorrow.

Many markets are reporting slow national sales for the first quarter. Is your information to the Rep up to date? The squeaky wheel gets moved to the top of the large station list the rep has to push every day. Make it yours.
By the way, I saw the first of a major marketing push for the new I-Phone from Apple. Get your hands on them first and use it as a give-away for the end of the spring book. Hot, hot, hot!
