I was encouraged to read at AllAccess.com last Thursday that Wells Fargo analyst Marci Ryvicker is speaking about signs of optimism in local advertising -- price stabilization, early bookings and improvement in the automotive sector are helping drive some growth in many local markets.
You and I both know, nothing drives our pricing more than demand. You can have all the ideas, packages, and a dream team sales staff, but there is no single more important influence on price than demand.
So, let this be known: Reach out to your biggest clients and agencies. Don't lead with this, but when they ask how it's going, SHARE THE GOOD NEWS!
