Handling Mistakes
How you handle mistakes at a radio station as the leader echoes loudly into eternity until repaired, when it'll be better than it was before the mistake.
These missteps can be ideal opportunities to create strong long-lasting bonds with staff, advertisers, press, etc. as part of repairing an error. How you repair an error at your station defines your character; the organization can only be as good as your dealing with the mistake.
Fix it to be better than ever? Or blame others? Avoid confronting the issue? Do the least to get by? Jump all over it to repair and point out the repair? Pretend it never happened? Lie your way out of the mistake and call the bottom-line win a real win?
