1) What do you do to maintain a positive mental attitude and stay motivated?
I have actually been doing some acting, including a few feature films and a bunch of TV Shows! My acting career is going very well for now!
2) How are you occupying your time, besides looking for a job?
Keeping my Husky KOLOFF fully exercised, keeping myself fully exercised, and watching as many episodes of The Andy Griffith Show as I can!
3) Some people get discouraged or enlightened with the business when they actually step out of it for a while. Tell us your observations from the outside.
It's definitely easier to find a new radio job if you're still in the business. Also, it's definitely a 'young person's' world.
4) Do you plan on sticking with radio?
I certainly plan on it.
5) What's the longest stretch you've had on the beach?
This is the longest. Even though I decided to get back into the business, this stretch is the longest
6) What is the next job you'd like to obtain?
Mornings or afternoons, maybe even production, at a major Rock station
7) How are you finding the "courtesy level" at places you've applied? (Callbacks, e-mails, rejection letters, etc.)
I've gotten a bunch of callbacks, and emails, However, I've been in touch with programmers that I've become friends with over the years!
8) What's the most unbelievable question you've ever been asked in an interview?
Would you be willing to clean the bathrooms, if you're done with your work and you're still on MY clock?
9) What's the most unbelievable on-air bit you were allowed to do?
It wasn't unbelievable like bad or dirty, but I did "Scorch's Paws For The Cause." I lived in a dog crate, 24-7 minus bathroom breaks, for an entire week, to raise money for no-kill animal shelters, and bulletproof police dog vests! I did it a total of six years in a row!
10) What has been your biggest career accomplishment?
Other than getting under the skin, for whatever reason, of the Opie and Anthony crew, I was the first afternoon Rock talent in the state to win the NHAB (New Hampshire Association Of Broadcasters) Personality of the Year award; and then I won it two more times, for a total of three NHAB Awards.
